Paper Earth’s Journey: From Waste to Sustainable Paper
1. Collection of Textile Waste:
Saurav, a 27-year-old based in Delhi, manages the collection of textile waste from textile factories & fashion brands in the Delhi NCR region with the help of his team of 3-4 workers.

2. Sorting of Textile Waste:
Seema, 51-year old, mother of two sons, handles textile waste aggregation. With her team of 5, she collects waste from multiple sources, sorts it for quality, and manages its storage to ensure a steady supply for Paper Earth's production.

Pappu, then plays a crucial role at Paper Earth by transporting textile waste from Seema's facility to Paper Earth's production unit.

4. Pulping of Textile Waste:
Shredded textile waste is pulped into a slurry by mixing it with water and natural binders. This process further breaks down the fibers, ensuring a smooth, consistent texture for producing durable, high-quality paper.

4. Paper Sheet Forming:
At Paper Earth's facility, the pulped textile slurry is transformed into paper sheets using a cylinder mould machine. The slurry is evenly distributed onto the rotating mould, which drains excess water and forms a uniform layer of fibers.

4. Drying & Finishing:
The paper sheets are dried to ensure texture and durability. Excess water is pressed out, and the sheets are air-dried or heated, resulting in strong, smooth, and sustainable products.
